SMACC is pleased to offer its hospitality and thanks to independent creators worldwide, and hopes to be a successful part of sustaining the Michigan Indie Film Industry.
Membership is $10 at the door, and SMACC is happening at the comfy Doubletree Hotel Dearborn which has a special room rate for weekend attendees. The film screening/exhibit schedule and earlybird ticket discounts will appear at the conference website as it is being built. Many thanks to our host event, SMACC 2010 for choosing to take their ambitious and auspicious first steps, in support of the Michigan independent film maker. Performers, musicians, and filmmakers can reserve one-hour slots by contacting me via e-mail at michael@idea-men.us
Film-makers wishing to show their feature films can reserve up to the length of their movies (within reason--six hours would definitely be too long). Performers and groups will have the ability to share... a communal sales table to sell their CDs, DVDs, and other promotional items... and have the opportunity to win a $200 cash prize (more, as we get more sponsorships) by audience ballot.
